On August 29th-September 1st, Battleground Community will be traveling up to Boston to work with City On A Hill Church to help show the love of Christ to thousands of individuals throughout the city. Each year there is a "big move day" where thousands of college, young professionals, and young couples completely move out of their apartments and homes due to a lease rule that is in Boston.

This "move day" is so big that all of the rented vehicles that people can purchase run out quite quickly which leads to thousands of people having to completely move out of their homes on their own. Accordingly, City On A Hill Church takes an "all hands on deck approach" and they purposefully and intentionally put themselves in the middle of all this moving, and simply tries to help their community in this practical way of helping anyone they see move out of their homes.

This work is a simple way to get into their community and begin building bridges to intentionally impact their neighbors with the gospel. Our church will be traveling to Boston to help aid City On A Hill Church with this intentional and practical work of showing the love of Christ by helping people move out of their apartments. We will also be aiding City On A Hill Church by preparing water bottles to pass out the day before the "big move day."

This trip will consist of MUCH walking, HEAVY lifting, and constant manual work for multiple hours. Please just be aware of this before signing up. We want anyone who is interested in going to feel free to join us, but we also want you to be aware of any physical demands this trip will consist of.

Registration is $400 per person, which will include flight, room, train ticket, and meals for dinner. Our goal is to keep prices down as much as possible, however, please be prepared to pay for additional lunch meals to be safe.
